(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 to 3.

2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife of the detenu T.Raja, aged about 32 years, to cause production of her husband, before this Court.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we have referred the matter before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court Buildings, Chennai, however, as per the report received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, the matter could not be settled.

4.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged detenu T.Raja was married the petitioner herein due to love and affection, however, there is no possibility for settlement and only once he appeared before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. We would not go into the detail and this Bench deals with the question as to whether there is any illegal detention. When the alleged detenu was produced before this Court and after hearing his submissions, we are of the view that there is no illegal detention. If there is any matrimonial dispute, it is open to the petitioner to seek remedy before the appropriate forum, according to law. 5.With the above observation, we find it just and reasonable to close the Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this petition is closed as nothing further remains to be considered.
