This original petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities as described in the schedule to the petition, which stood in the name of K.Baskar who died intestate on 09.08.2020. The 1st petitioner is his wife and the 2nd and 3rd petitioners are his daughters. His mother predeceased him.

2.After completing necessary formalities, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. The 1st petitioner, B.Rathina examined herself as PW-1. The Death Certificate of her husband, K.Baskar was marked as Ex.P1. The Legal Heirship Certificate of K.Baskar was marked as Ex.P2. The statement with respect to SBI Mutual Fund which stood in the name of K.Baskar was marked as Ex.P7.
