2.Though the acquisition proceedings are different in respect of the Writ Petitions in W.P.Nos.30565 and 30372 of 2014 in one hand and W.P.No.30326 of 2014 on the other hand, the grievance appears to be the same. The crux of the grievance of the petitioners is that they have purchased the property, though the same is acquired and as not being used for the purpose for which they were acquired, the respondents will have to consider the issuance of No Objection Certificate to the petitioners to get patta as the acquisition proceedings were stated to be dropped, particularly taking into consideration the orders passed by this Court in similar matters.
3.It appears that the petitioners have made representation on 06.09.2014. Thus, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent no.1 to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to give a copy of the representation enclosing a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.The Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/- Asst.Registrar (CO) /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar va To 1.The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Nandhanam, Chennai - 600 035.
