ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2025 and consequently to direct the respondents to enhance salary on par with the employee in other societies in the same class of the societies in the cadre of the secretary till entering in to new agreement as per the direction of the 1st Respondent and to pay the arrears of salary and other benefits with effect from 01.04.2018 to till day with interest at the rate of 12 percent per annum 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as Clerk in Neikuppai Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society on 15.03.2010 and subsequently his appointment was confirmed in the year 2013 and promoted as Secretary of that Society. In the year 2014, there was a settlement under Section 12(3) of ID Act for fixing the pay scale of the petitioner. While so, on 12.03.2021, the first respondent issued circular directing all the Cooperative Societies to enter fresh settlement agreement and to revise pay scales. However, the same was not implemented thereby the petitioner made representation on 12.11.2025. However, no order has has been passed. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the nd merits of the case, directs the 2 respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
