ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent in his order No.IC17099/CISF/RGIA/07/CIW/2018-1762 dated 27.10.2018 and order No. IC-17099/CISF/RGIA/07/CIW/2019- dated 15.02.2019 and quash the same and to direct the respondents to issue the Pensioner Identity Card to the petitioner expeditiously.

2. No representation for the petitioner.

3. On perusal of the records it is seen that the petitioner's request for Identity Card was rejected by the fourth respondent by stating the following reason:

" In this regard, it is to intimate that as per norms, the CISF personnel who have proceeded on Superannuation / VRS / Pre-mature / Compulsory retirement are only issued with pensioner identity cards. Hence, your case being Technical resignation did not fall under the domain of above conditions."

4. The petitioner who had got Technical resignation is found to be unfit to get Pensioner Identity Card as per the norms of CISF the personnel who had proceeded on Superannuation / VRS / Pre-mature / Compulsory Retirement alone are entitled to get Pensionary Identity Cards.

5. It is stated in the affidavit that such identity cards have been issued to similarly placed persons who had earlier worked in the respondent's organization and later gave technical resignation and joined in new post in some other public sector. However, the petitioner has not produced any such order to show that similarly placed persons have been

issued with the Pensioner Identity Cards, to substantiate the facts with regard to the persons who went on technical resignation are also entitled to get the identity cards.

6. In view of the reasons stated above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
