Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.01.2019, wherein and whereby, she sought access to her land situated at No.68, Panchetti Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District comprised in S.No.235/1, measuring an extent of Acre 0.64.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the adjacent property, which belongs to the Government is the only source of access to her property as referred to supra and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in that Government property, the construction is sought to be made by the respondents. Therefore, she claims that she must be provided access to her property.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 09.01.2019 made by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
