ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 1/3
4(1-A) and 4(1)(g) of the TNP Act, in Crime No.205 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that on 15.05.2024, when the respondent police on prohibition raid near Parangiyanandham Kappu Kattu, the petitioner was found to be in illegal possession of 20litres of ID arrack and 3000 litrres of ingredients for preparing illicit substances, which contained poisonous substances.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has 8 previous cases similar in nature. 2/3

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

Considering the nature of allegations, the fact that earlier anticipatory bail application was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 24.01.2025, the petitioner has eight previous cases similar in nature and that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
