O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner representation dated 20.01.2023 made for to survey the petitioner land in the Survey No.301/2, in Patta No:2664, as per Patta New Survey No.301/2A1C measuring an extent of 3230 sq.feet., by the respondents.

2. The petitioner has given a representation on 20.01.2023 to the respondents to survey his land at Survey No.301/2, in Patta No:2664, as per Patta New Survey No.301/2A1C.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, though the said application submitted by the petitioner on 20.01.2023 since has not so far been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

4. However, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that, though the representation has been given on 20.01.2023 no fee has been paid for surveying the land, unless the fee is paid, the request of the petitioner cannot be considered.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the petitioner to pay the necessary fee for surveying the land of the petitioner to the respondents forthwith within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such payment, the respondents shall consider the application of the petitioner and do the needful by completing the survey of the land within eight weeks thereafter.
