O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation given by the petitioners dated 08.03.2013 requesting to refer the Communication in No.1146/2010/C1 dated 19.10.2012 regarding the award passed in respect of acquisition of their land to the Land Acquisition Court for enhancement of compensation.

2. When the matter was taken up today, the learned Government Advocate for the respondent placing on record a letter dated 10.0-9.2013 addressed to him by the Special Deputy Collector (L.A.), Tamil Nadu Urban Development Project III @ Poonamallee, Chennai stated that the matter pertaining to the acquisition of the petitioners land has been referred to the City Civil Court, Chennai on 10.9.2013 for enhancement of compensation. Therefore, he submitted that nothing survives in the Writ Petition.

3. Placing on record the said letter dated 10.09.2013, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
