This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the entire records relating to the FIR in Crime No.194 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent and to quash the same. For Petitioner :

ORDER

Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that after the completion of investigation in Crime No.194 of 2021, final report has been filed before the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and the same is yet to be taken on file.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid final report filed before the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. The learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is directed to take the final report filed by the 1st respondent police on file immediately, if it is otherwise in order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
