Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 6 to render necessary police protection to the petitioners' properties, both movables and immovables, along with fitting and furniture, plan and machineries, as well as the land in S.Nos.649 and 652/1, Fern Hill, Uthagamandalam Town, Nilgiris, as described in the Sale Certificate dated 16.09.2011, so as to prevent any further 'theft' by the respondents 3 to 5 or their men, servants and staff members, and to assure safety of petitioners' properties in the premises, in question, by taking into account the petitioners' representation dated 15.1.2012 and by taking necessary criminal action against all concerned for the illegal and unauthorised removal and theft of the petitioners' properties.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this Writ petition seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 6 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's movable and immovable properties by considering their representation dated 15.01.2012.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that with respect to the subject matter in issue, a Special Leave Petition is pending before the Supreme Court, which has been admitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the prayer made in this writ petition cannot be straight away considered. However, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned, after disposal of the Special Leave Petition, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
