Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the concerned records from the first respondent quash the order of the respondent bearing No.CMWSSB/P&A/STF/RA2/22805/2005-2 dated 8.8.2005 transferring the petitioner from Depot No.126/Area VIII to Depot No.6/Area-I, as illegal, malafide and contrary to the first respondent B.P.No.20/2003 Personnel and Administration (R&A) Department, dated 20.10.2003 and consequently direct the first respondent to retain the petitioner at Depot No.126/Area VIII.

This writ petition is filed challenging the order of transfer and it is brought to the notice of this Court that the writ petitioner had already attained the age of superannuation. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained on the grounds raised in the present writ petition and accordingly the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
