ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to supply electricity service connection to the petitioner's property at No.7, Vinayaga Puram 9th Street, Karanai Puducherry Village Chengalpattu District. 2.The second respondent filed a counter affidavit to the effect that the subject property is classified as Eri Poramboke and is also adjoining the social forest area; and that the petitioner's application dated 23.10.2020 seeking electricity service connection to the said property through online was rejected on the same day itself, i.e., 23.10.2020 due to insufficient documents viz., Eri Poramboke, which was also communicated to the petitioner's mail and phone number. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's application seeking the relief as sought herein, was rejected by order dated 23.10.2020 and hence, the writ petition may be closed with liberty to the petitioner to redress her grievances, in the manner known to law. 4.Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
