This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 11.03.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for the survey and demarcation of the boundaries with respect to the subject property. 2.

Heard Mr.S.Saravana Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for Respondents 1 and 2.

The petitioner is claiming right and title over the property through a registered sale deed dated 04.04.2013. A joint patta has also been issued in Patta No.1156 along with three others. The petitioner wanted a separate patta in her name and accordingly, an application was submitted on 11.03.2024 seeking for the survey of the subject property for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same has not been acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 11.03.2024 and conduct the survey in the subject property to demarcate the boundaries strictly in line with the title deeds. If there are any other rival parties, the survey shall be conducted in their presence. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
