Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 3rd Respondent in connection with the impugned order in Ref: PD.HRDD.0088.1680, dated 26.09.2011 passed by the 3rd Respondent rejecting his claim for promotion and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to promote the Petitioner from Middle Management Grade Scale II to Middle Management Grade III from the year 2008 onwards with all other attendant and consequent benefits.

Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition challenging the impugned order passed by the 3rd Respondent herein vide Ref: PD.HRDD.0088.1680, dated 26.09.2011, rejecting his claim for promotion and for a consequential direction to the Respondents to promote him from Middle Management Grade Scale-II to Middle Management Grade-III from the year 2008 onwards with all other attendant and consequent benefits.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the Respondents submitted that, the Petitioner has been promoted in the year 2014 and he has retired from service on 30.11.2017. Hence, according to the learned counsel, nothing survives for consideration in this matter. 3.
Recording the said submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the Respondents, as no further adjudication is necessary, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
