PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 25.12.2019, vide Cr.M.P.No.43/2019 against detenu Sudhakar, son of Govindaraj, aged about 39 years, and quash the same consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the detenu who has been now detained under Act 14 of 1982 in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.The Petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Cr.M.P.No.43/2019 dated 25.12.2019 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt. No.807, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 17.02.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
