O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was placed in Sl.No.10 of the seniority list, dated 28.03.2008 for the promotion to the post of R.T.O. from Motor vehicles Inspectors Grade - 1 issued by the 1st respondent, but the same seniority has not been followed while taking down the list on 26.07.2018 to the post of Deputy Transport Commissioner. Against which, the petitioner submitted the representations to the 1st and 2nd respondents dated 02.08.2018, but the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief.
2. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
