Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners appeal in Appeal No.13 of 2024 dated 12.08.2024 cancel the patta No.546 stands in the name of 4th to 7th respondents in respect of house site in Reddypalayam Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District comprised in Old Survey No.620/1, now in New Natham Survey No.768/45 to an extent of 4554 square feet, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court. This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to take a decision in the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.08.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of respondents 4 to 7 with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate for Respondents 1 to 3. 2/5

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to hear the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.08.2024 pending in A No.13 of 2024 after giving opportunity to respondents 4 to 7 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
