Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorari, to call for the records in I.D.No.296 of 1996 on the file of the first respondent, the learned I Additional Labour Court, Chennai and to quash the impugned award dated 20.12.2004 of the first respondent/The 1st Additional Labour Court, Chennai in I.D.No.296 of 1996.

O R D E R
The learned counsel for the second respondent/workmen brought to the notice of this Court that the first respondent passed an award of reinstatement with backwages, and the writ petitioner/Management had already implemented the award long back. Therefore, no further consideration is required in the 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
present writ petition.
2. In view of the fact that the award had already been implemented in entirety long back and the petitioner has shown no interest in pursuing the writ petition, this Court is of an opinion that the writ petition need not be kept pending for an unspecified period. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
