..Respondents in Cont P. 2136,2143,2175,2177/2017. PRAYER in Cont.P.No.1578 of 2017: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents herein for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 08.01.2016 in W.P.No.619 of 2016 for contempt.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that as per the order of the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.(MD).Nos.383 to 457 of 2015, dated 12.06.2015, the respondent-Transport Corporation has to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the said interest will be paid within a period of three months.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the Contempt Petitions are closed. In case of any default in payment of interest, the petitioners are permitted to revive the contempt Petitions.
