O R D E R

The contempt petition has been instituted to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 29.08.2023 passed in W.P.No.25424 of 2023. This Court passed the following order:

"4. The petitioner is now required to approach the second respondent with a fresh representation for the said purpose, upon receiving which, the second respondent shall take a call strictly in accordance with law over-ruling any objection or obstruction from parties, who have no right over the route, which the petitioner may indicate, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date on which the petitioner makes his representation.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs."

2. With reference to the orders passed by this Court, the respondents have considered the claim of the petitioner on merits and rejected the same vide proceedings dated 26.03.2024, which is not disputed by the petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner made an attempt to readjudicate the issues on merits, which is not permissible in the contempt proceedings.

Since the Authorities have complied with the order and passed the proceedings dated 26.03.2024, the respondents have not committed any contempt of Court order.
