PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 1st respondent relating to the order in Pro.Na.Ka.No.07294/C5/E5/2008 dated 05.07.2010, to quash the same to the limited extent of adoption of state level seniority for promotion from the post of record clerk to that of Art Master (Drawing Master) and issue consequential direction to draw District level seniority as the basis, to include the name of the petitioner in the District Seniority List for Krishnagiri District, and appoint him to the said post on that basis. O R D E R

This writ petition pertains to the adoption of a State level seniority list for promotion from the post of Record Clerk to that of Art Master.

2. The learned counsel for the Petitioner did not login at the hearing on 03.12.2020 and, therefore, the matter was posted today. Once again, he has not logged in. The learned Special Government Pleader (Education) submits that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition on account of intervening developments whereby the Petitioner retired from service in the year 2018.

3. In light of the aforesaid submissions, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No cost. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
