Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the Appeal dated 21.11.2022 given by the petitioner with regard to the illegal inclusion of the name of the third party in the joint patta in Patta No. 792 pertaining to Survey No.61/1A1 Keezhmuttukur Village K.V.Kuppam Taluk Vellore District within a time frame to be fixed by this Honorable Court.

O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the Appeal dated 21.11.2022 given by the petitioner with regard to the illegal inclusion of the name of the third party in the joint patta in Patta No. 792 pertaining to Survey No.61/1A1 Keezhmuttukur Village K.V.Kuppam Taluk Vellore District within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. As against the order passed by the 3rd respondent for issuance of patta, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 2nd respondent under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act on 21.11.2022. In order to decide the said appeal and to dispose of the same within a time frame, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.W.M.abdul Majeed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the said appeal filed by the petitioner pending before the 2nd respondent would be decided on merits and orders would be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to decide the appeal dated 21.11.2022 filed by the petitioner and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
