Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to revise the pay scale of difference in leave salary and different in gratuity as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 along with 10% interest to the petitioners. For Petitioners :

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to revise the pay scale of difference in leave salary and different in gratuity as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 along with 10% interest to the petitioners.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, these Writ Petitions are taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioners, who had joined the services of the respondent Corporation as Drivers, had retired from service during the year 2023-2024, after rendering service of more than 28

years however, their wage settlement was arrived belatedly on 29.05.2025 but the wage revision was given effect from 01.09.2023. It is claimed that the petitioners are in service on the date of the wage settlement therefore, they are entitled to get difference in the settlement benefits with effect from 01.09.2023 and regarding the same, they have also sent representations to the respondents on 19.01.2026, 22.01.2026 & 23.01.2026. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioners are before this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations and pass appropriate orders within a specified time.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents will consider the petitioners' representation and pass appropriate orders within a specified time.

6. In view of the same, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 19.01.2026, 22.01.2026 & 23.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on the same in terms of the 15th wage settlement, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order taking into account the bank rate of interest on deposits.

7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
