O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash Crime No.23 of 2017 on the file of the 1st respondent. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2017 was completed and charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Salem and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.227 of 2018. He further submitted that originally, there were seven accused in Crime No.23 of 2017 and while filing the charge sheet, A2 to A7 were deleted. As against A1 alone, the charge sheet was filed. Thereafter, on 23.01.2019, A1 died and the charges against him stands abated.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudicating the petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
