[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 07.04.2022, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Sweeper in Coimbatore District Judiciary on 04.06.1986; thereafter, he was suspended from service on 14.04.2000 under the charge of insubordination, thereby, his employment benefits were stopped from 01.10.2009 onwards; though he has been acquitted from all the charges levelled against him and has given several representations before the Coimbatore District Judiciary with regard to the same, neither reply nor necessary actions has been taken by the respondent; while so, he lost all his service records when he travelled to Chennai to institute a case; therefore, he sent a representation dated 07.04.2022 to the respondent to provide a copy of all the service records, but, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

When this matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the respondent produced a communication dated 12.04.2023 sent by the respondent, wherein, it has been so specifically stated that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2022 has been considered and steps are being taken for supplying the required/available copies of records. Stating so, the learned counsel prayed for reasonable time to complete such exercise.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent and considering the limited scope of the prayer made herein, this writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to supply all the necessary/available copies of service records to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
