Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct the peace committee meeting as early as possible and to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to allow the petitioner to worship the deity along with other 61 persons entitled for Sri Mega Sakthi Mariamman Temple situated in Appakkodal Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to conduct the peace committee meeting as early as possible and to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to allow the petitioner to worship the deity Sri Mega Sakthi Mariamman Temple situated in Appakkodal Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.

2. Heard Mr.P.Sesubalan Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 & 2 and Ms.D.Sathya, learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

counsel for the respondents 3 & 4.

3. Ms.D.Sathya, learned counsel for the respondents 3 & 4 on instructions would submit that peace committee meeting was convened by the second respondent and in view of the said meeting, the temple festival was conducted on 11.03.2021 and he would also submit that there is no bar for the petitioner and others from worshiping the deity at Sri Mega Sakthi Mariamman Temple situated in Appakkodal Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that he is satisfied with the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents 3 & 4.

5. After recording the rival submissions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
