2011 and to quash the same and to direct the Respondents not to proceed to collect any amounts from the Petitioner on the ground that the meter provided to HT SC No.128, was defective, without referring the issue to an independent accredited laboratory, by following the procedure prescribed y the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission in its Order, dated 08.09.209 in MPM No.41/3, the Central Electricity Authority (Installation and Operation of Meters) Regulations, 2006 and National Electricity Policy.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the Petitioner has submitted that the Petitioner had sent a letter dated, 20.08.2018 to him, stating that the Petitioner had paid the entire amount claimed in the impugned proceedings and had also filed the said letter before this Registry and hence, the Petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this Writ Petition from the file of this Court and also made an endorsement in this Writ Petition to that effect. In view of the same, recording the said submissions and the endorsement, this Writ Petition is dismissed, as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected MPs are closed.
