This criminal original petition has been filed to call for records and quash the FIR in Crime No.710/2010 on the file of the 1st respondent, viz., the Inspector of Police, J-8, Neelangarai Police Station.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. Mr.G.Ramesh Babu, HC 15219, J8, Neelangarai Police Station is present today.

Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Crime No.710/2010 was completed and final report filed in CC.No.402/2012 before the Judicial Magistrate, Alandur for an offence under Section 420 r/w 34 IPC against five accused, including the petitioner herein.

5. In view of the above, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The Registry is directed to send back the original records, if any, to the concerned Court.
