The petitioner having failed to take any steps for 16 years to press the arbitration petition, I see no reason why the interim order should now be vacated at the behest of the petitioner and I feel the bank guarantee must be kept alive. If any variation is required, that should be sought before the Arbitrator, for which leave is granted.
