This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission to conduct the cultural programme on 17.02.2021 in the event of Sri Mariyamman Temple, situated at Vadakarai, Thenkaraikottai Post, Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2021.

2. Heard Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Raghavan, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent.

3. In the considered view of this Court, during the present pandemic situation, it is better to avoid any congregations. This Court has been consistently passing such orders and this Court does not want to create an exception in this case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
