ORDER

This Contempt Petition was filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.1986 of 2020 dated 12.2.2020, was not complied with. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted the copy of the proceedings dated 15.2.2024 of the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Chennai-16. On going through the same, it is seen that the petitioner was permitted to retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.7.2016 subject to the conduction that the disciplinary action pending against the petitioner will be continued under the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules 1978. Thereafter, the report of the inquiry officer was considered and the explanation given by the petitioner was also considered and punishment of pension cut of Rs.1000/- per month for a period of two years has been imposed against the petitioner. 3.In view of the above, the order passed by this Court has been complied with and the petitioner has any grievance on the order passed by the Director of

Public Health and Preventive Medicine, it is left open to the petitioner to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
