[Order of the Court was made by M.NIRMAL KUMAR, J.,] The petitioner, who is mother-in-law of one Maruvarasi filed this petition stating that her daughter-in-law was found missing from 22.12.2022. It is the case of the petitioner that whereabouts of the detenue was not known and her granddaughter Sangeetha lodged a complaint with the second respondent police but no action taken. Hence, the present petition is before this Court.
2. Today, Mr.V.Jagadeesan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Thirunavallur Police Station produced the detenue Maruvarasi.
3. On enquiry, it is found that due to some misunderstanding with detenue's husband, she is residing at No.22, D Block, Sun Avenue Apartments, Pallavaram, Chennai on her own volition and she is working in a textile shop. Since she is a major and she is safe, we find no reason to interfere with this petition.
