ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission and protection to conduct the dance programme in the event of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil Festival on 08.03.2017 at Vendipalayam, Erode.

2. This Court is of the view that under the name and style of cultural event, there shall not be any obscenity in the cultural programme. Keeping this in mind and also taking into account, the law and order, it is the respondent who has to take decision immediately. The respondent shall consider the said representation and pass orders immediately.

3. In the event of respondent considering representation and granting any such permission, the respondent is at liberty to cancel the program at any time, even during the event, if there is any obscenity or law and order problem.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
