This Criminal Revision case filed under Sections 397 and 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure to set aside the order dated 06.09.2012 passed in M.P.No.88 of 2012 in C.C.No.873 of 2012 on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai-8.

ORDER

The criminal revision has been filed against the residential order dated 06.09.2012 passed in M.P.No.88 of 2012 by the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. The petitioners are the respondents in M.P.No.88 of 2012 in C.C.No.873 of 2012 filed by the respondent herein under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, (for brevity "DV Act"), which was allowed in favour of the respondent/complainant.

As per Section 29 of the DV Act, appeal only will lie before the Court of Sessions, against the order impugned in this revision. Hence Registry is directed to send entire papers to the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, along with copy of the original impugned order immediately. Both the parties are directed to appear before the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, on 21.08.2019. Since the revision is pending before this Court from the year 2012, the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, after receiving the papers and taking appeal on file, if otherwise in order, is directed to dispose of the appeal on or before 24.09.2019 in accordance with law and send a report on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same to this Court.

With the above directions, the criminal revision case is disposed of.
