Petitioners PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to set aside the order of adjudication, dated 30.10.2018, adjourning the case to the date 27.04.2019 without considering the applications for waiving the statutory period of 6 months and to consequently direct the Sub-Court, Tambaram, to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.767 of 2018 on the date to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The above Civil Revision Petition has been filed to dispose of the application filed under Section 13(B) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, for divorce by mutual consent.

2.It is seen that the parties had earlier filed H.M.O.P.Nos.353 of 2016 and 158 of 2017 and the present application is filed for divorce by mutual consent with necessary application for waiving the six months statutory period.

mkn 3.Considering the judgment in the case of Amardeep Singh v. Harveen Kaur reported in [(2017) 8 SCC 746], the Court below is directed to forthwith number the petition and list the matter for hearing, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. No costs.
