ORDER
Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation
dated 28.02.2018, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3. According to the petitioner, he was initially appointed as Vettian on 04.06.1965 by the third respondent. Subsequently, he served as Village Assistant, for a continuous period of 46 years and he retired from service on 30.06.2010. It is the further case of the petitioner that the service rendered by him for 13 years from 30.04.1997 to 30.06.2010, as Village Assistant was regularised as re-employment vide G.O.(Standing) No.96, dated 23.02.2015 and he was paid salary for the said service. However, he has not received any pension till date. Hence, he submitted a representation dated 28.02.2018 to the second respondent, requested him to send his reemployment details, along with pension papers to the first respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent on 19.03.2018, directed the fourth respondent to take necessary steps on the petitioner's representation. Thereafter, no progress was made with regard to the claim of the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
