The petitioner/Appellant has filed this petition to condone the delay of 159 days in filing the appeal against the award passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (District Court-II), Kanchipuram in MCOP No.905 of 2016, dated 20.03.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant .
3. The learned counsel for the respondents has got no serious objection in allowing this petition.
4. Considering the submissions made on either side and being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.
5. Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is otherwise the papers are found to be in order and print the name of Mr.C.Prabakaran, for respondents and post the matter on 16.10.2020 for admission.
