ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of TN Scheduled Commodities (RDCS) Order, 1982 and 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 in connection with crime No.165 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Earlier this Court on 20.08.2025 had dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner with the following observations. "5. Considering the quantum of PDS rice transported illegally and the fact that the petition is having four previous cases of similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed"

3. Now the petitioner has filed the second anticipatory bail petition without any change in circumstances, hence, I am not inclined to re-visit the earlier order.
