This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.70 of 2016 on the file of Judicial Magistrate II, Tindivanam.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/accused was convicted in C.C.No.70 of 2016, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Tindivanam. Therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous.

3. Recording the above said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
