ORDER

Apprehending arrest and unnecessary harassment at the hands of the respondent, in connection with the complaint given by one Ramnath Ashok against the petitioner, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of this Criminal Revision Case.

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide with any of the conditions that may be imposed by this Court.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry), on instructions, submitted that there is no requirement for the petitioner to appear before the authority concerned and he is only directed to submit his reply, which would be considered by the authority. He further submitted that there is no move by the authority to arrest the petitioner, at this stage. He also submitted that if the petitioner's presence is required, summons will be issued by the authority, as per law.

4. When such being the position, the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is unnecessary and the petitioner is hereby directed to submit his reply, meeting out all the queries raised by the authorities, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if such reply is filed, the same be considered by the authorities on merits and in accordance with law and appropriate orders be passed, within four weeks thereafter.
