2.Wilson ..Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to direct the first respondent to produce the body or the person of the detenu by name Miss.Theporal, the daughter of the petitioner, aged about 18 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

The petition is filed by the father of the so-called detenue, by name Theporal, aged about 18 years, to produce the detenue from the custody of the 2nd respondent, Wilson @ Wilson Gnanaraj. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The so-called detenue along with the second respondent are now produced before us by the first respondent police. The detenue was produced from Pudukottai where she has been stated to be residing with her husband. When the detenue is personally enquired by us, she has categorically stated that both herself and the second respondent got married on 22.02.2015 and the marriage has been duly registered on 10.03.2015. She has also produced a copy of the Certificate of Registration of Marriage at the office of SubRegistrar, Pattukottai, dated 10.03.2015, for our perusal. She has further stated that she is willing to stay with her husband and continue her Nursing Course. She is not willing to go with her parents. The second respondent/husband of the detenue, assured before us that he will allow his wife to continue her studies.

3. In view of the above statement made by the detenue, we permit the detenue, Theporal, to go with the second respondent/husband as per her wish. The Habeas corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.
