Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Notification issued by the 2nd respondent in No.S1/7962/Syn.Ele./2005 dated 17.8.2005 and quash the same in so far as the condition imposed that for the other category all senators are eligible to vote, and direct the respondents to conduct election for the one syndicate vacancy meant for other category afresh by conducting election among the 36 members of other category only to participate and vote and conclude the election.

O R D E R
The condition imposed for election of one syndicate vacancy in proceedings dated 17.08.2005 is under challenge in the present writ petition.
2. On account of the efflux of time and in view of the fact that, further elections also were conducted during the pendency of the writ petition.
3. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. If at all, any grievances exist to the writ petitioner, it is left open to him to approach the competent authorities in the manner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
known to law. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
