These miscellaneous petitions have been filed to condone the delay of 325 days in filing the above CRP.SR.Nos.14789 & 14765 of 2019.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submits that, some settlement had been made between the parties towards full settlement and that is the reason why in order to contact the counsel in this regard, the revision could not be filed immediately and thereafter, since it was not fructified, they decided to file the revision petition. Therefore, there is a delay of 325 days in filing the above CRP.SR.Nos.14789 & 14765 of 2019.

4.However, Mr.J.Kingsly Solomon, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would contend that, the revision petitioner, in order to drag on the proceedings, formally filed these revision petitions, without any plausible reason.

Sgl 5.I have considered the said submissions made by both sides and I have perused the reasons stated in the respective affidavits. Since the delay is 325 days and even though some reasons have been given by the revision petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, this Court feels that, if at all these petitions are allowed, that shall be done only on terms.

6.In that view of the matter, the condone delay petitions are allowed and the delay is condoned, on condition that, the revision petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.2500/- each to the respondent as costs, which shall be paid within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that, no further extension of time be given for making the payment. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
