O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 26.12.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for removal of his name from the History Sheet maintained by the second respondent in HS No.441 of 2011.

2. Heard Mr. I.C.Vasudevan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consider the representation made by the petitioner on 26.12.2020 in accordance with the guidelines issued by this Court in Sabari Vs. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madurai City and Ors., reported in 2018 (4) MLJ Crl 585, and Thirumagan and Ors. Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District and Ors., reported in 2020 (2) LW Crl 266, and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make fresh representation to the respondents along with a copy of this order.

4. This Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
