ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.Duraiswamy, J.) The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take appropriate action based on the representation dated 12.12.2018 and to remove the encroachments made by respondent Nos.4 and 5 being encroachers on the Government land situated at Survey No.503 of Poondi Village, Thiruvallur Taluk and District.
2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 24.07.2019, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner admitted that the compound wall has been demolished and that there was a concrete slab on the Well and the same has to be removed.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 submitted that the authorities have removed the concrete slab and also constructed a wall around the Well. Further, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the encroachments made by respondent Nos.4 and 5 have been removed by the authorities. The learned counsel for the petitioner also admitted that the respondent authorities have removed the encroachments made by respondent Nos.4 and
5. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate and the learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record.
4. Since the respondent authorities have removed the encroachments made by respondent Nos.4 and 5, no further direction needs to be issued in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar
