Prayer: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., pleased to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2023 by taking cognizance of the same and grant police protection to the petitioner by Keevalur Police Limit, Nagapattinam District to secure the ends of justice. ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking police protection based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 22.01.2023. 2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.72 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police.
3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
