Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on petitioner's patta transfer applications dated 27.02.2017, 07.03.2017 and 11.10.2017 for issuance of patta in favour her in respect of her land situated in Old Survey No.240/2, New Survey No.240/3A, Perumuchi Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District admeasuring to an extent of 50 cents (20 Acres) comprised in Joint Patta No.616, submitted at E-Seva Centres, within a time frame. The petitioner seeks for Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's patta transfer applications dated 27.02.2017, 07.03.2017 and 11.10.2017 for issuance of patta in her favour in respect of her land situated in Old Survey No.240/2, New Survey No.240/3A, Perumuchi Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District admeasuring https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to an extent of 50 cents (20 Acres) comprised in Joint Patta No.616.
3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said applications dated 27.02.2017, 07.03.2017 and 11.10.2017 have not been considered by the respondents so far.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 27.02.2017, 07.03.2017 and 11.10.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
