This Criminal Revision is filed under Section 397 and 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to set aside the order passed by the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.A.No.225 of 2011 dated 26.04.2012.

O R D E R

The revision petitioner is the wife and the first respondent is her husband. The petitioner has filed a complaint before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate under Sections 18, 19, 20 and 21 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act against the husband and in laws and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.294 of 2010. After full-fledged trial, the learned Magistrate has allowed the case as prayed by the petitioner. Challenging the order of the Metropolitan Magistrate, the respondents have filed appeal before the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in C.A.No.225 of 2011. After hearing the arguments, the learned Sessions Judge, allowed the appeal by setting aside the order passed by the Magistrate. Challenging the said judgment dated 26.04.2012, the petitioner/defacto complainant has filed the present revision before this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the revision, all the respondents 1 to 3 died, the revision is liable to be dismissed as abated.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also made an endorsement to that effect, this revision is dismissed as abated. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
