Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorari calling for records pertaining to deputation order dated 29.01.2024 in Na.Ka.No.346/A3/2024 passed by the respondent No.1 and to quash the same.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of deputation dated 29.01.2024 passed by the first respondent thereby deputed the petitioner to the Government High School, Germalam, Erode District for the subject of Maths.

The petitioner was appointed as Teacher by the proceedings dated 28.12.2008 through Teachers Recruitment Board. Subsequently the second respondent School was upgraded from Elementary School to High School in the year 2018. Thereafter, the petitioner had joined in the second respondent School by proceedings dated 08.09.2018 as Maths teacher. Now the petitioner has been deputed as Maths teacher to the Government High School, Kandikattuvalasu, Erode District. It has been challenged only on the ground that it is located about 150 km away from the 2nd respondent School.

On instruction, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that it is only order of deputing the petitioner to Government High School, Kandikattuvalasu, Erode District. It is not far away from the 2/4

petitioner's School. The said school is also within Erode District. In the subject of Maths, there is no teacher in the said School and as such the petitioner has been deputed as Maths teacher to the said School. That apart, it is only temporary arrangement till March 2024. 4.

In view of the above submissions, this court find no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the first respondent. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 20.02.2024 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking lok 3/4
